WELCOME TO SGPA
ABOUT SGPA

Established in Dublin in 1993, we are Ireland's most active Performing Arts Company and Stage School, with classes in Singing, Dancing, Acting, Musical Theatre, Commercial, Vocal Training and Advanced Acting.
We are proudly home of the famous Halleluia Gospel Choir, Ireland's leading costume company Sparkle Costume, and Dublin Panto. We also supply some of the finest professional performers, production services, production designs, educational services as well as costumes and specialist pieces available in Ireland and the UK.
With classes, workshops and camps based in Artane, Kilbarrack and Swords in Dublin, our award winning productions allow students to truly display their training and ability, with students learning in a fun, professional and safe environment.

The company is managed and directed by creative director Sean Gilligan

CLASSES
Classes for students of all ages from 3 up
All performing arts classes are taught in a mixed environment with both boys and girls in all classes.

All classes are taught by working industry professionals.

All members of the SGPA Team are fully Garda vetted and Child Protection is of the utmost importance to the whole company.

All performance classes include a mix of singing, dancing and acting in various styles.

CAMPS
Sean Gilligan Performing Arts hosts at least
2 workshop-style camps throughout the year
(Easter & Summer)

Each camp is focused on a specific musical and gives performers (age 6-18) the chance to learn performance skills and rehearse a full-scale production which takes place in The Helix Theatre at the end of the 2 week camp.

Our camps are open to all. You do not need to be an SGPA student to attend. We hold auditions before the camp begins for those who are interested in playing lead roles.

ALL ARE WELCOME
We, at Sean Gilligan Performing Arts, recognise theatre and arts training as a place of refuge for so many people of all ages, so ensuring that this safe, open and inclusive environment exists, is incredibly important to us. We work to achieve this at every step of our theatre making and training process.
